Slough Council for Voluntary Service (SCVS) is delighted to announce that nominations for the Slough Voluntary Sector Awards 2017 are now open. Now in their sixth year, these Awards are designed to celebrate the successes of all those working to achieve a positive change in Slough, and the prestigious Awards Evening in November has become the event of the year for the local Voluntary Sector.
So why not nominate your Voluntary Sector Champions NOW?
Do you know:-Anyone who deserves a special thank you for all the voluntary work they have done over the years?
A group providing a service you or your family really cannot do without or a group that’s been creative at tackling a local issue?
A local Business which has been particularly supportive to the local community?
If so, let us know!
All shortlisted Nominees will be invited to the celebratory Awards Evening in November at the Heathrow/Windsor Marriott, where they will be wined, dined and entertained in style, and the much coveted award winners will be revealed.
There are four categories for Nominations:
•Slough Volunteer of the Year
•Slough Young Volunteer of the Year
•Slough Group of the Year
•Business Support of the Year
