Slough Council for Voluntary Service (SCVS) supports the Voluntary Sector through the promotion of their volunteering opportunities and activities, funding information and support with governance.

  • Voluntary Sector E-newsletter
We provide a regular e-newsletter to keep the voluntary sector informed about local and national news, events and training opportunities. Sign up to our mailing list at communications@sloughcvs.org.uk
  • Promoting Volunteering Opportunities
Groups can submit their volunteering requirements to volunteering@sloughcvs.org.uk
  • Slough Community Network
Slough Community Network is open to community groups throughout Slough. This networking meeting takes place four times a year and provides great opportunities to meet with other community groups and have the chance to come and prioritise what is important for Slough.
  • Quality Assurance for the Voluntary Sector
Our quality assurance programme Slough Quality Protects, for Slough groups, provides the necessary tools to ensure the voluntary sector has the correct policies, procedures and quality systems in place to run effectively and serve the community. It is a requirement for funding bids to the local authority and other funders.
