Slough CVS was invited to attend the Windsor Forest Colleges Group careers fairs, held at Berkshire College of Agriculture in Maidenhead, and Langley College. The events were a fantastic opportunity to meet with local students and talk to them about the benefits of volunteering in their community.
The students were inquisitive and keen to learn more about the opportunities available in Slough and how they could use their time and skills to support local charities, while also gaining valuable experience.Overall, the events were a great way to connect with the new generation of socially conscious volunteers and continue to promote our #OneSlough ethos to the younger generation.
