About Slough CVS
Our charity, Slough CVS exists to improve the quality of life of people in Slough and make a positive difference in our community.
Slough CVS is an established Charity that has been running for over 80 years. Our core service is to the voluntary sector providing a Capacity Building service.
Slough CVS successfully bid for the Adult Social Care preventative service tender in 2015 and the SPACE consortium of 40+ Associates was launched bringing together voluntary groups to provide activities and services to local residents. Within this service, SPACE commissions Slough Carers Support and the Wellbeing Service.
Slough CVS took over the HOME Slough contract in September 2018. The programme empowers and involves the community in its decision-making, enabling people to have brilliant art experiences in the place that they live.
