#OneSlough is a partnership between the NHS, Slough Borough Council, Slough Council for Voluntary Service, local businesses, and the charities and community groups of Slough. We work together to improve the wellbeing of Slough residents.
Whilst the principle of all working together as ‘One Slough’ has been in place for several years, #OneSlough came into full fruition as a response to COVID. The range of partners committed to doing ‘whatever it takes to shield, protect and serve’ our vulnerable residents.
The approach was recognised locally, regionally, and nationally as exemplar and brought a trusted relationship approach to meeting the needs of the COVID response.
The response was impactful and as a result it is here to stay and be built on for current and future needs.
