One Slough Fund 2021

The SPACE (Slough Prevention Alliance Community Engagement) project, started in 2015, has now ended and as of June 2021, Slough CVS is administering the #OneSlough Community Fund, funded by Slough Borough Council, to support local voluntary and community groups to deliver projects to meet local needs/priorities that will benefit Slough residents to enhance their health and wellbeing.

Projects will be tackling key priorities including supporting the vulnerable, carers, provide opportunities to support and reduce social isolation, increase skills and employment opportunities, reduce poverty and improving health inequalities including mental wellbeing.

In total, 19 groups were successful with their funding applications, of which 11 were previously funded by SPACE. Here’s the full list:

SPACE (Slough Prevention Alliance Community Engagement)

SPACE was an alliance of over 30 associate members led by Slough CVS. The SPACE consortium which ended in June 2021, delivered a number of key services in Slough for adults such as information, health and wellbeing and carers support. SPACE associates work towards a shared set of health and social care outcomes for residents.
