Over 30 attendees, including Jamia Masjid & Islamic Centre Slough (JMIC) Imams, Board members, staff and volunteers attended a bespoke training session on Adult and Child Safeguarding at the JMIC, organised by the training team at Slough CVS and delivered by Dr. Andalina Kadri.
JMIC offers many activities and services, and they recognised that is important that their staff understand how to identify and address safeguarding concerns and incidents. JMIC is committed to community safety and offers a safe space for all visitors.
One attendee said, “We found the course very useful, especially knowing that we can now better support our varied and diverse community with this additional knowledge and information.”
JMIC Slough thanked the Slough CVS and the trainer for delivering this useful session.
