The second annual VCS Partnership Awards in Windsor and Maidenhead will celebrate the outstanding achievements of local voluntary and community groups, dedicated volunteers, and businesses that support the sector across the Royal Borough.
The awards will recognise outstanding contributions through the following categories:
1. Group of the Year
(a) Charity of the Year – For charities with an income over £50k, who make an exceptional and outstanding contribution to RBWM
(b) Community Group of the Year – For charities with an income under £50k, who make an exceptional and outstanding contribution to RBWM
2. Volunteer of the Year – For volunteers aged 19+
(a) Lifetime Achievement Award – An individual who has shown long-term dedication and sustained impact over many years.
(b) Unsung Hero Award – A volunteer who consistently goes above and beyond with little recognition. Someone who has made a significant difference to their local community and/or neighbours through commitment and leadership.
3. Young Volunteer of the Year Recognising a young person – aged between 11-19 (or up to 25 with SEND) who has made a positive contribution to The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead through volunteering.
4. Business Support of the Year – This award recognises a business that has made a meaningful community impact through partnerships, volunteering, and support for local initiatives.
Anyone who lives, works or studies in The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead can nominate a group or volunteer who deserves recognition.
Nominations are now open and will close on Monday 12th October 2026 and winners will be revealed at the VCS Partnership Festive Forum in December.
