The #OneSlough Community Wellbeing Champions (CWC) project ended this week.

Before they left, the team of 24 CWC’s and three Co-ordinators enjoyed an Away Day at the Jubilee Riverside Centre, talking about what worked well and what can be improved for future projects, kayaking, team building and a lot of fun and games on the river too!

A huge thank you to the Community Wellbeing Champions team for all their hard work over the six-month project. They spoke to residents about the benefits of having the COVID-19 vaccine and their health and wellbeing in general on doorsteps, at nine outdoor festivals and celebrations, in the High Street, at schools, at Langley College and many more sites across Slough, sometimes with the vaccination bus or the TukTuk.
