50 tickets were donated to Together As One, Slough Young Carers, Wellbeing Friends volunteers and refugee families, by Steve Oakes from The Academy @ CAST, a community Youth Theatre, to see a preview showing of Rapunzel – The Colnbrook Panto.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was a night full of humour, fun and laughter with audience participation, making it especially fun for the children.

One refugee family said: “This made our evening as we don’t get a chance to go out much and pay expensive tickets for a fun packed show, so this being provided free to us was a privilege. It definitely put a smile on my children’s faces, thank you to Slough CVS for allowing this to happen.”
