This Pride Month, we are shining a light on Beyou, a monthly meet-up for the LGBTQIA+ community in Slough, a space where people can be unapologetically themselves, feel safe, seen, and supported.
Zoe Coates and Jessica Harding of Thames Valley Positive Support have created a short video to highlight why having a safe, supportive space for the LGBTQ+ community matters, not just during Pride month, but every single day.
Zoe Coates, BeYou Coordinator, said:
“It’s vital to have safe, welcoming spaces like Beyou where members of the LGBTQ+ community can truly be themselves, feel supported, and connect with others. These spaces make a real difference in people’s lives. This Pride month, please consider supporting local LGBTQ+ services like Beyou.”
