Cadent hosted its Vulnerability Conference in London on 6th November 2025, bringing together stakeholders from across multiple sectors, to enhance support for customers in vulnerable situations.
Shahid Qazi, representing Slough CVS, attended the event and shared insights from the discussions. He explained that the conference focused on understanding the evolving nature of vulnerability in the UK, particularly in relation to energy access and rising energy prices. The event aimed to develop a collective and strategic approach to better support individuals and communities facing these challenges.
Slough CVS’s “Wellbeing at Home” project—promoting energy saving and carbon monoxide awareness—is part of the same programme sponsored by Cadent, reinforcing a shared commitment to improving wellbeing and safety within local communities.
