Ladies from The Pakistan Welfare Association (PWA) recently received free slow cookers as part of a six-week slow cooking program organised by Slough CVS’s Wellbeing at Home project, in partnership with Cadent. Along with the slow cookers, participants were provided with free carbon monoxide alarms, as well as valuable information and advice on slow cooking, energy-saving tips, and carbon monoxide safety.
Shaida Akbar, Vice President of the PWA, expressed her gratitude, saying, “Slough CVS’s energy-saving project is making a positive impact by helping to change people’s habits in Slough. Thank you so much.”
