Look after your wellbeing during your lunch break

We are all being encouraged to work remotely again if we can, but this comes with added pressures for yourself, colleagues and volunteers.

One thing that we can all do to help ourselves is attend a 45-minute lunchtime workshop on Zoom. Tim Howells from Public Health Slough will be delivering a session packed full of ideas and tips about looking after your mental health, wellbeing and your immune system as we approach winter. While we’re all at home, let’s keep our bodies and minds healthy and stay positive.

Ramesh Kukar, CEO, Slough CVS and #One Slough Co-Chair said, “The first lockdown was harder for some as we saw an increase in domestic abuse and safeguarding issues. Staff and volunteers in the voluntary and statutory sector have had to deal with difficult issues, made even harder as colleagues were not around to provide a listening ear on a bad day. Looking after our own wellbeing is so important, we can’t be there for others if we don’t look after ourselves and there is support there for you.”
