Slough CVS marked the end of the Month of Community 2025 by hosting a Volunteer Fair at the Curve on Friday 27th June.
The fair attracted over 30 voluntary organisations and over 100 residents interested in volunteering.
The Volunteer Fair was a wonderful event which showcased the very best of Slough’s diverse and thriving voluntary sector. The charities which attended covered causes such as supporting residents living with sight-loss, literacy support, advocacy services, grass roots football and many more!
Tagreed Ismail, Volunteer Manager at Slough CVS said: “It was inspiring to see so many residents visit the fair and engage in meaningful conversations with our voluntary groups, many expressed to me that they were impressed with the range of organisations available in Slough and were keen to start volunteering in the community.”
A big thanks to all our voluntary groups, residents and our partners who helped make the event such a success!
