Slough CVS Volunteer Georgia Brings Lived Experience to Slough & Langley College SEND Careers Fair

Slough CVS volunteer Georgia joined Volunteer & Community Development Officer Orooj Haque at the Slough and Langley College SEND Careers Fair—an event supporting young people with Special Educational Needs.

As a parent of a child with SEND, Georgia brings valuable lived experience to her role. After taking time out of employment to care for her child, she is now using volunteering as a way to rebuild her confidence, develop her skills, and give back to the community that supported her. Her story offered encouragement and inspiration to attendees exploring their own futures.
