Carers Rights Day 2025 took place on Thursday, 20th November, with the theme “Know your rights, use your rights”. The day aimed to empower carers by providing them with essential information about their rights and available support.

In Slough, Slough Carers Support hosted a special Carers Rights Day event, offering residents a valuable opportunity to access advice and guidance.

The drop-in event was well-received, with many local residents benefiting from the resources on offer. Among the organisations represented were Slough CVS’s Wellbeing at Home and Community Connectors services, Special Voices, Healthwatch, the Slough Memory Clinic, the Adult Social Care team, and the Debt and Welfare team.

This collaborative event highlighted the range of services available to carers in Slough, helping to ensure they have the support they need.
