The Wellbeing for Home project, a partnership of Slough CVS with Cadent, has successfully provided over 350 carbon monoxide monitors to at-risk residents in Slough, enhancing community safety. Shahid Qazi, the Wellbeing Coordinator, expressed gratitude to the community groups, partners, and volunteers who played a crucial role in the distribution of these monitors and Energy Saving information. A notable recipient, Mr. SH, a blind and isolated individual, was delighted to receive his monitor and gift from the SCVS Cadent energy saving initiative. Special thanks goes out to the Ujala Foundation, Art Classes Group, JMIC, Slough Outreach, Home-Start Slough, Community Connectors, Slough Refugee Support, Together As One, The Slough Hub and Asian Carers for their efforts in the distribution of the monitors.
