This week Slough CVS was invited to World Mental Health Day at Arbour Park. Cllr Iftakhar Ahmed, representing Slough Borough Council, admired NHS efforts in creating Mental Health awareness, in particular the work being done by NHS Building Resilience & Valuing Emotions (BRAVE) after domestic abuse . He also congratulated Slough CVS Wellbeing Coordinator Shahid Qazi for his support to vulnerable members of the Slough community and his efforts in creating energy saving awareness, delivering carbon monoxide alarms and information material.
