Mayor Joins Slough Seniors for Exercise, Lunch and Celebration of Community

Mayor of Slough, Councillor Siobhan Dauti, recently joined the Slough Seniors Group at Brook House in Chalvey for a session of gentle exercise followed by lunch.

For almost 20 years, the group has provided exercise, companionship and friendship for some of Slough’s older residents. It plays a vital role in reducing social isolation, promoting healthy lifestyles and offering a welcoming, safe space where older people can come together to socialise and feel seen, heard and valued.

Councillor Siobhan Dauti said:
“Thank you to the organisers, volunteers and attendees for making this group such a success. Here’s to the next 20 years!”
