A new exhibition at a contemporary arts space in Slough Trading Estate is helping drive conversations around ‘creative health’.

Unstruck Melody, the latest exhibition presented by without SHAPE without FORM, features work by British-Canadian artist Nirbhai (nep) Singh Sidhu and was first shown at the V&A during the 2023 London Design Festival. Through paintings, film and immersive installations, it explores the relationship between sound, focused practice and the mind (watch the film here).

without SHAPE without FORM, co-founded by former Condé Nast fashion director Deep Kailey, is a assembly of artists, thinkers and cultural practitioners whose work is centred around the mind. Last year, the organisation opened its 7,500-square-foot headquarters on Bath Road, creating what it describes as a “beautiful third space” where art, creativity and conversations about the mind come together.

We should have world-class cultural experiences in Slough too. The organisation’s focus is on making work that connects on a human level, using art and creativity as a way to explore the mind, encourage curiosity and bring people together.

Alongside its exhibitions, without SHAPE without FORM runs a year-round programme of free workshops, guided tours, children’s art clubs, podcasts and community gatherings.
