| Congratulations to Sbba Siddique from Asian Star Radio for winning the Podcast of the Year Award at the Arqiva British Asian Media Awards 2025, curated by Samara Events UK!
Sbba partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support to shine a light on the resources available for people with cancer and their families, particularly within Slough’s South Asian communities. Her podcast, Cancer – Taboos and Stigmas, featured conversations with healthcare professionals, support workers, and those directly affected by cancer. Diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2022, Sbba has been passionately advocating for better access to cancer information, especially for women and people of colour.
