Thank you to Masterchef 2020 Semi-Finalist Jasmeet Dail who has been volunteering on a Friday with Slough Outreach for a year now. Slough Outreach put out a request at the start of the pandemic to feed those in need and Jasmeet immediately stepped forward.
He has now prepared over 2000 hot meals for their Friday lunchtime outreach. Earlier this week he made a special meal with desserts to celebrate this anniversary, delivered together with the usual snacks and refreshments to Slough Outreach’s vulnerable clients as well as the #OneSlough Hi-Viz Heroes at the Salt Hill Park Vaccination sites and to the frontline staff and volunteers working on the mobile vaccination bus.
Shin Dhother, Slough Outreach Founder said, “I just want to thank Jasmeet for getting involved and continuing to provide weekly hot meals for our most vulnerable residents and those on the frontline. We are blessed to have the support of these heroes who help us with donations of food and essentials.”
Slough Outreach have been supporting the Salt Hill Vaccination Centre, using their links with local businesses to provide food donated by them to the Hi Viz Hero volunteers.
