Football volunteers from across the grassroots game in Berks & Bucks were celebrated on Thursday 31st July 2025 at the annual Grassroots Football Awards Evening.

Across seventeen categories spanning various areas of the game from Club of the Year, Young Volunteer of the Year to Green Leadership and Outstanding Contribution, this years’ winners were recognised for their extraordinary impact to the sport.

Congratulations to Adrian Gomm, Community Manager, Slough Town Football Club who won the EDI Champion of the Year Award — a fantastic achievement!

Adrian’s award recognises individuals who go above and beyond to make football open, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone. Through his work at Slough Town, Adrian has championed projects that break down barriers, celebrate diversity, and ensure football is a sport for all.
