The Berkshire Community Foundation Symposium brought together charities from across Berkshire, including local organisations from Slough and RBWM such as Together as One, Slough Refugee Support, Number 22 Counselling, Healthwatch, Slough CVS and The Green Skills Library. Chaired by Graham Barker, Vice President of BCF, with Ellie Philpott, Community Impact Manager, the event celebrated collaboration and innovation across the voluntary sector.

Ellie shared:

“It was wonderful to welcome charities from across the county. The sharing of ideas, challenges and solutions truly reflects the strength of our local community.”

The day featured a range of engaging speakers and workshops, including Blandy & Blandy Solicitors, Cyber Crime and Security, Browns CIC on multi-agency working, a Canvas Hacks savings workshop, and a session on recruitment reset.
