Across the country, vigils and gatherings were held to mark one week since the tragic synagogue attack in Manchester and the arson attack at the Sussex mosque.
In Maidenhead, a moving event took place at Maidenhead Synagogue, organised by Julie
Siddiqi MBE, with several members of the Slough Faith Partnership in attendance. The gathering was a powerful display of unity, compassion, and resilience in the face of rising hate crime statistics.
Julie Siddiqi MBE reflected: “I felt the emotion but also the determination. We cannot let hate win or allow it to divide us any further.”
