
On July 8th, the community gathered at Chalvey Community Hub for a special Coproduction Celebration event. Attendees enjoyed a lively afternoon featuring lunch, a dance performance, and inspiring talks from a range of speakers.
The event highlighted prevention and early intervention strategies aimed at reducing hospital admissions, showcasing co-produced initiatives and success stories from Slough Autism Together.
Naweeda Naqvi, Community Connector at Slough CVS, shared powerful examples of how connecting individuals with local voluntary and community services is helping to combat social isolation and enhance wellbeing across the community.
David Colman-Groom, Executive Director of Adult Social Care, delivered the Welcome Address, setting the tone for the day’s collaborative spirit. The event concluded with a summary by Jane Senior, Director of Commissioning at Slough Borough Council, who reflected on the achievements and future goals of the co-production efforts.
