Slough and Langley College recently hosted a highly successful Health and Wellbeing Fair, attracting a large number of students eager to learn about various aspects of personal and community wellbeing. The event featured a diverse range of stalls, including Slough CVS Wellbeing at Home, Together As One, Solutions for Health, the NHS, and many more, offering valuable information and resources to attendees.
One of the standout moments of the event was the eye-opening experience of Ahmed, a Langley College student, who discovered the hidden dangers of carbon monoxide (CO). “I had no idea that Carbon Monoxide could be in our homes undetected and could kill us. I will install the CO alarm you gave me today and will let others know about its importance. Thank you so much,” Ahmed shared.
The event organiser, Paris, also expressed enthusiasm for the fair’s impact: “Thanks for having the Energy Saving Info & CO awareness stall. Both students and staff really enjoyed themselves, and it was great to see them interacting and learning about how they can support their wellbeing.”
