Health and Wellbeing Information Day

#OneSlough, including representatives from the Community Connectors, Talking Therapies, Healthy Smiles Slough, Living in Harmony, Ways into Work, Solutions4Health and the SCVS team, came together this week at the Cippenham Royal British Legion Club for a Health and Wellbeing Information Day. Members from the African Caribbean Community received essential information about seasonal illnesses, vaccines, oral health, energy savings, cost savings, befriending, mental health, health check ups, chronic illness, Community Connections, volunteering and employment.

Joycelyn John said, “It was lovely to see the Seniors within the community engaging and learning about the services available and how to access them for better support and care for positive health benefits and outcomes. Thanks to the experts and team for a successful event.”

The next Health and Wellbeing Information Day is taking place at JMIC Slough on 9 December – Book Now!
