Slough CVS attended at health event at the Slough Hindu Mandir on January 20th.  These events provide a vital opportunity to share important health and wellbeing information with the local community. Throughout the day, we engaged with many worshippers, discussing a range of health-related topics.

Solutions for Health offered free health checks and information on smoking cessation,  healthier weight and preventing falls.  The NHS Health Bus was present offering Flu and Covid vaccinations.  We were able to sign post people to relevant services and addressed the importance of immunisation throughout various stages of life.

One attendee shared their thoughts, saying, “We are grateful to the services present. These engagements provide the community with valuable information and help us find the assistance we need.”
