Improving wellbeing with the Journey to Contentment sessions

A six-week 1.5 hour art therapy session came to an end this week with some amazing work produced by the participants.The Wellbeing Team at Slough CVS ran the session alongside the Art Classes Group, based at the Observatory Shopping Centre in Slough.Each week, the group saw more attendees wanted to get involved in this relaxed environment where they could express themselves through art and meet like-minded people.Sessions included autumn wreath making, drawing, ceramics, painting and art celebrating Black History Month, led by experienced artist, Marinela Caldarus.

The session was followed by an informal group chat with subjects over light refreshments on physical and mental wellbeing matters.
