Meena Lawar Hosham, a Community Connector at Slough CVS, represented Slough Refugee Support as a panelist at the AGM of the National Council for Women GB (NCWGB), sharing her journey as a refugee who fled a totalitarian regime.

The NCWGB works to influence government policy and ensure women’s voices are heard. Its key aims include promoting participation, challenging discrimination, defending human rights and empowering women.
