30 older men from Men’s Matters groups across Windsor and Maidenhead enjoyed a fantastic day out at Brooklands Museum, creating opportunities for friendship, connection and shared experiences.
With support from People to Places, three volunteer drivers — Andy, Mark and Stephen — helped make the trip possible, ensuring members could enjoy a safe and enjoyable day together.
Men’s Matters is dedicated to helping older men live longer and live better by fostering friendship, purpose and belonging. Through regular groups and activities and events like this, the organisation empowers men to build lasting relationships, grow in confidence, remain active and engaged, and continue making a positive contribution to their communities.
This memorable excursion reflects the values at the heart of Men’s Matters — kindness, empathy, dignity and mutual support — creating opportunities for older men to connect, thrive and enjoy fulfilling, purposeful lives together.
