Dolly Bhaskaran, Diabetes UK Health Champion and #OneSlough Volunteer has written and released a new book, “Golden Glitters” containing her poetry. This is not her first book; in 2009 she started her poetry journey as a way of combatting loneliness and isolation and to improve her own wellbeing. With her passion for free verse and plain English, she has written over 12,500 accessible poems and read some at community events. Dolly is the author of two self-published books “Mutterings of an Old Lady” and “Eternal Love Poems”.
