This year, Carers Rights Day was on Thursday 21st November, with the theme ‘recognising your rights’. In Slough, the day was celebrated at the Elite Banqueting Suite, where members of Slough carers groups enjoyed guest speakers, live performances and a grand buffet. The presence of information stalls, including Slough CVS, which provided valuable advice on Wellbeing at Home, Community Connections, and health and wellbeing, along with Slough Borough Council’s Social Services and the NHS, was greatly appreciated.
