Attendees at the Roma, Faith culture and Traditions, the second SCVS Faith & Cultural Training event came together on Wednesday for an inspiring lunchtime session exploring the rich faith, culture, and traditions of the Roma community, led by Mihai Bica from the Roma Support Group and Rosanne Naicker, SCVS. The session offered a valuable opportunity to learn more about the history, language, barriers, family values, and cultural heritage that shape Roma identity across the globe.

Since 2008, Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month (GRTHM) in June has celebrated the diverse cultures of the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities. It aims to promote awareness, challenge stereotypes, and empower GRT people to take pride in their heritage and identities.
