Slough volunteers support young people with mock interviews and CV feedback at Langley Academy

Recently a group of Slough volunteers including Claire Giacobbe, Samina Hussain and Anita Herbert were delighted to take part in a Mock Interview and CV feedback Day, to support young people at Langley College. The session focused on the importance of selling yourself confidently and effectively and students were encouraged to not only showcase their strengths but also embrace and communicate their weaknesses, as areas of growth.

Claire Giacobbe said: “It was an incredibly rewarding experience to use my skills to give back to the community and help guide the next generation. It was also a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and reconnect with people I hadn’t seen in a while. Seeing the determination and potential in these young people was so inspiring. Giving back in this way reaffirms the importance of investing in our future leaders.”
